What “Two Words” from St. Paul do Catholics strive to obey?” #23.

May our love and respect for Jesus keep us all from “sinking into sin”.

~

Question 1: “What is our ‘body’ for?”

Answer: “Today’s Reading incluldes verses from 1 Cor: 6-20. ‘Brothers and sisters: The body is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body; God raised the Lord and will also raise us by His power.’

~

Question 2: “When will we all be ‘raised’?”

Answer: “We will all be ‘raised’ at God’s Final Judgment! Rev. 20:12 is clear. ‘I saw the dead, both great and small, standing in front of His Throne., while The Book of Life was opened and other books opened which were the record of what they had done in their lives, by which the dead were judged.’

~

Question 3: “Do those ‘Books of Life’ tell God how much we have helped or hurt our neighbors by our words and deeds on earth?”

Answer: “1 Corinthians 6:9-11 is clear: ‘You know perfectly well that people who do wrong will not inherit The Kingdom of God: people of immoral lives, idolators, adulterers, catamites, sodomites, thieves, usurers, drunkards, slanderers and swindlers will never inherit The Kingdom of God.’

~

Question 4: “Does St. Paul tell us how we should use our bodies?”

Answer: “‘Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? But whoever is joined to the Lord becomes one Spirit with him.’ Then, St Paul gives us Two Words to guide the way we should use our bodies: Avoid immorality’.’

~

Question 5: “What happens to our soul if our ‘Book of Life’ shows that we have chosen to do more harm than good to our ourselves and our neighbors by choosing to ‘Accept Immorality’?”

Answer: “Rev. 20: ‘Then, death and hell were thrown into the burning lake. This burning lake is the second death. Anyone whose name could not be found in The Book of Life was thrown into the burning lake.’

~

Question 5: “We have all sinned! What can we do to get our soul into Heaven?”

Answer: “St. Faustina tells us that Jesus will forgive even the greatest sinners! The safest thing we can do is confess our sins and ask for His Mercy.”

~

May we be blessed to ‘Avoid Immorality’.

Forever!

Catholics can give free books to our friends and family! Something unusual: Since these books are free, they cannot be bought.

There are interesting ideas to read and share in the short Daily Columns. Many like the free books: https://catholicfundamentalism.com/our-books/
We may share links so our friends can also read them for free.

If you like the free downloads, please consider a donation to your Parish or favorite Catholic Charity. And, donate some effort by sharing: catholicfundamentalism.com

The best book of the last Century is “The Diary of St. Faustina”. It lets each of us realize how much Jesus loves our soul. http://www.seraphim.my/divinemercy/diary/text/DiaryI.htm

A few of the free books are listed below. They are provided by Catholic Missionaries (including you) as anonymous as the unnamed believers identified by The Disciples of Jesus in Luke 10:1-22.

These free books are interesting. The anonymous author is an inventor with the unusual qualification of having over 160 U.S. Patents. He shares new, simple reasons to be Catholic.

”Crats!” is a very unusual novel. https://catholicfundamentalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Crats-Final-1.pdf

”New Road to Rome” is a simple Catholic look at The World and its History. https://catholicfundamentalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/New-Road-To-Rome.pdf

This look at “The Book of Revelation” helps us use our computer skills to understand the most complicated Book in The Bible! Catholics know more than we realize. We understand that every email we have written is also inscribed in our “Book of Life” that Jesus will read at our Judgment! https://catholicfundamentalism.com/the-book-of-revelation

The books are free. They cannot be bought. How often have you heard of that?
