Catholic Fundamentalism helps computer users relate to The Church by using words from current technologies, rather than the old, Iron Age vocabularies that comprise our Scripture and liturgies.
God, The Father, is thought of as The Loving Programmer. He wrote The Creation Program, which included angels. Catholic Fundamentalists think of them as “Programming Assistants”. They did the important work of helping to download, in all its complexity, The Creation Program. The Loving Programmer can program three dimensional particles. Some of His Programming Assistants are empowered to do so, as well.
His Programming Assistants downloaded His Programs in increasing levels of complexity. They run the gamut from hydrogen atoms’ components to the turtle programs to us human programs with free will. We, human beings with free will, are His most complicated programs.
After The Creation Program was up and running, some of the Programming Assistants decided they should mount the spiritual version of a corporate takeover and start running things. They couldn’t, and were expelled from Programming HQ.
Most of us have had our computers damaged by corrupting viruses. The fallen angels and their minions are the living equivalents of the viruses that corrupt our computers. Their goal is to corrupt and crash every human program they can.
There are seven kinds of viruses: Pride, Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Anger, Lust, and Sloth. All are working to corrupt our individual programs.
Sometimes, we think The Creation Program is so huge that God could not have downloaded the endless galaxies and their countless stars. We can picture His ability to do so by simply imagining that, in Programming HQ, there are “copy” and “paste” commands. Simply by pushing “copy” and “paste”, He can have as many galaxies in space, with whatever variations are desired, that we human programs need to have the free will to decide whether or not to believe.
Those who don’t believe in Him show how much power He has: He has been able to program and download a universe so magnificently that those who are blinded by their own vanity aren’t able to see it.
