When we feel a desire to do something that will provide short-term pleasure and long-term damage, we should try to find out what that desire actually is. Few of us do that. Mostly, we just try to ignore, resist, or control destructive desires. Sometimes, we give in to them.
Giving in to evil desires become addictions. Some popular addictions involve drugs, nicotine, sex, and money. In the Iron Age, Scripture taught that such destructive beings are demons. In our own Age of Electron Control, we see them more accurately as corrupting viruses.
As our ancestors did, we may usefully consider that each destructive desire within us is actually a living spirit. Each addiction is the manifestation of a living thing that has successfully corrupted parts of us, at least for a time. When we understand that, we can ask for help from more powerful spiritual forces, The Loving Programmer, His Mother, and the Saints and Angels Who are His Programming Assistants. They will erase the virus and restore our human program.
Where Do Viruses Live?
Evil spirits can live in one of three places. They can spend comfortable time in a person’s mind. There, they work to destroy the person’s soul. They encourage the minds they occupy to read the wrong kind of books, watch the wrong kind of movies, have the wrong kind of friends, think the wrong kind of thoughts, and do the wrong kind of things. They may driven out by prayer. They also leave a human program’s body when it dies.
Homeless demons roam around the world as they search for other minds to enter and corrupt. They are like viruses, looking for new human programs to corrupt and destroy.
If a homeless demon/virus can’t find a human program to start corrupting, it must return to Hell. It will do anything to avoid such pain.
The world has been programmned so that most of its political, social, and entertainment structures are dominated by people who are controlled by demons. They do everything they can to open more human minds to provide homes for even more demons. At the same time, every demon on earth does what it can to undermine and destroy their most hated enemy, The Roman Catholic Church, The Body of Christ on Earth.
The Roman Catholic Church, like Jesus, has the power to drive demons from human minds and into Hell. She can, as many Healing Masses prove, drive demons, the living viruses of destruction and addiction, out of human programs with the power of The Holy Spirit, the Sanctifying Wireless Connector. He joins all who wish to be saved with the Power Who will do so.
