Are Catholics “out of our minds” to “see God’s face and be saved”?” #28.

Catholics are blessed with the same “insult” often used to describe Jesus.
~
Question 1: “What does David ask God to let us do so that we may be ‘saved’?”
Answer: “David’s request to God is The Response in Today’s Reading within Psalm 80:2-7:
‘Let us see your face, Lord, and we shall be saved.’
~
Question 2: “If we ‘see God’s face’, will ‘we be saved’?”
Answer: “For 4,000 years since Abraham, God’s people have been attacked by every evil vanity on earth. David describes that Historical Reality in one sentence, 3,000 years ago!
‘You have left us to be fought over by our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.’
~
Question 3: “God’s people are still being ‘fought over’ and ‘mocked’ by our enemies. What do Catholics do?”
Answer: “Catholics do more than ‘ask to see God’s face’! We obey Acts 16:14, and ask God to:
‘Open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to The Words of Your Son.’ Catholics ask God to let us ‘see His Face’ and ‘listen to The Words of Your Son.’
~
Question 4: “Did the other request David made to God come true: ‘From Your throne upon the cherubim, shine forth before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Rouse Your power, and come to save us.’?”
Answer: “King David’s prayer to God came true at The Immaculate Conception of Mary. With Mary, God had an ‘unblemished vessel’ that would ‘Rouse God’s Power’ by bringing His Son to earth, as over 300 Prophecies predicted.”
~
Question 5: “Do only Catholics understand that ‘God’s Power’ was ‘roused’ at The Immaculate Conception of Mary?”
Answer: “Today’s Gospel Reading shows that one ‘crowd’ of people saw that God’s Power was ‘roused’ by The Son of God and Mary in Mark 3:20-21!
‘Jesus came with His disciples into the house. Again the crowd gathered, making it impossible for them even to eat.’
~
Question 6: “What did people who could not see that God’s Power had been ‘roused’ on earth say about Jesus?”
Answer: “‘When His relatives heard of this they set out to seize Him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.’
~
For 2,000 years, those who most clearly “see” Who Jesus Is and most obediently “listen” to His Words and “obey The Call to Catholic Communion that He repeated 14 times (“If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”) are blessed with the same insult given to Jesus: “Those Catholics are out of their minds!

There are interesting ideas to read and share in the short Daily Columns. Many like the free books: https://catholicfundamentalism.com/our-books/
These books cannot be bought. We may share links so our friends can also read them for free.

If you like the free downloads, please consider a donation to your Parish or favorite Catholic Charity. And, donate some effort by sharing: catholicfundamentalism.com

The best book of the last Century is “The Diary of St. Faustina”. It lets each of us realize how much Jesus loves our soul. http://www.seraphim.my/divinemercy/diary/text/DiaryI.htm

A few of the free books are listed below. They are shared by Catholic Missionaries (who may include you) as anonymous as the unnamed believers identified by The Disciples of Jesus in Luke 10:1-22.

These free books are interesting. The anonymous author is an inventor with the unusual qualification of having over 170 U.S. Patents. He shares simple reasons to be Catholic.

”Crats!” is a very unusual novel. https://catholicfundamentalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Crats-Final-1.pdf

”New Road to Rome” is a simple Catholic look at The World and its History. https://catholicfundamentalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/New-Road-To-Rome.pdf

This look at “The Book of Revelation” helps us use our cell-phone skills to understand the most complicated Book in The Bible! Catholics know more than we realize. We understand that every email we have written is also inscribed in our “Book of Life” that Jesus will read at our Judgment! https://catholicfundamentalism.com/the-book-of-revelation

The books are free. They cannot be bought. How often have you heard of that?
