May God’s Light burn away our sins and save our souls at His Judgment!

Question 1:  “What lets Catholics be Catholic?”

Answer:  “We are blessed with an awareness of The Power of Jesus in our life and at Judgment.”

~

Question 2:  “How do we get an idea of that?”

Answer:  “We think about the most important things that have happened in our life.  We are blessed to know:  ‘Jesus got me where I am.’  He has a Plan for every life.”

Question 3:  “Should we consider mistakes we made that hurt people?”

Answer:  “Our lifetime of hurtful thoughts, words, and deeds will be seen in The Bright Light of Jesus at Judgment.  Each sin is a tiny, anti-God particle in the glowing globe that is our soul.”

Question 4:  “Does Today’s Reading help us see our sins?”

Answer:  “Daniel 9:4-10 tells us what he says to God:  ‘Lord, great and awesome God, You Who keep Your merciful covenant toward those who love You and observe Your commandments!  We have sinned, been wicked, and done evil;  we have rebelled and departed from Your commandments and Your laws, we have not obeyed Your servants, the prophets.’

Question 5:  “Do Daniel and Psalm 79:8-13 agree we must make this plea for our immortal soul:  ‘Lord, do not deal with us according to our sins.’?”

Answer:  “Those Passages prepare us to understand today’s Verse Before The Gospel from John 6:63, ‘Your Words, Lord, are Spirit and life;  You have the Words of Everlasting Life.’ so that we can make Luke 6:36-38 a cleansing for our soul:

‘Jesus said to His disciples:  ‘Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.  Stop judging and you will not be judged.  Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.  Forgive and you will be forgiven.’

Then, Jesus gives His guide to our life!  ‘Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap.  For the measure with which you measure will in turn be measured out to you.’

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “When I look back upon my years / God’s blessings become very clear.”
