Those who lack the humility to get past the barriers to entry often join weak, watered-down versions of The Church He Founded. In every age, The Catholic Church is surrounded by schisms with one thing in common: dislike of The Only Church Jesus Founded.
In our age, there are over 40,000 identifiable schisms. Each of these “Ladders to Heaven” was begun by a vain, ambitious man appealing to an identifiable group of similarly disaffected people.
