Catholics find peace by fighting a life-long war.

Catholics are grateful to God for giving us the life He wanted us to have. He Who made us gave us rules to follow!

God’s first rule? “Thou shall have no other gods before Me.” In eight Words, God is telling us three things.

1. God is telling us that He is God.

2. He is telling us that there are “other gods”.

3. God is ordering His people to put Him first!

~

God is real. Therefore: the “other gods” He mentioned are real. The evil spirits who work for them are also real. They appear in our mind as “thoughts”.

Do you want to see an evil spirit appear in your mind? Think about a way to make money without working. A gang of evil spirits will appear!

“You deserve what is rightfully yours! Here’s a way for you to get rich!”

~

The doorway to hell is opened! More evil thoughts take form in our mind! Pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth cry out for gratification!

The soul in such a mind cannot find peace.

~

The evil spirits of the “other gods” agree on one thing! “Do not think about your immortal soul. Do not think about getting it into Heaven!”

~

When an evil desire appears in our mind, Catholics take two steps.

1. “God, I am being tempted by an evil desire. Please, do not let it pull my soul into hell.”

2. We ask God for help! “God, please drive that evil spirit out of my mind.”

That’s easier said than done! A Catholic priest once told me, “Illicit desires come to an end about a week after we’re dead.”

~

So, our war against evil is a lifetime battle!

Catholics find peace by fighting a life-long war. We want our souls to have what He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies gave to one man and One Church:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
