Catholics know: “Our thoughts are the children of our brain.”

We all spend a lot of time thinking. It makes sense to think about “thinking”. We think all day long! What are the “thoughts” we think?

Catholics know: “Our thoughts are the children of our brain.” We put those “children” together in our mind.

~

Every new thought is like a newborn child. What happens when we think about our thoughts!? We like them! “This is my idea!” Vanity leads us to a popular conclusion. “Since this thought is my idea, it has to be good! It is a child of my brain!”

Catholics know: “Some children are good. Some children are bad!”

Some of our thoughts are good. And, some are bad. St. Paul tells us how to see the difference!

2 Corinthians, 10:5 is clear. “. . every thought is our prisoner, captured to be brought into obedience to Christ”.

~

Everyone who reads The Bible has “captured” This “thought”. It comes from The Mind and through The Mouth of Jesus Christ!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

~

“bad thoughts” lead many to disobey That Teaching of Jesus Christ! A “bad child” willfully and knowingly chooses to disobey That Teaching of Jesus Christ!

What happens when bad thoughts are “captured to be brought into obedience to Christ”?

We become Catholic!

~

Then, what do Catholics do?

First! We get more of our own thoughts “captured and brought into obedience to Christ”.

Second! We strive to show our neighbors that they must control their bad thoughts. Bad thoughts keep many immortal souls from being forever among those who may get into Heaven! “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Third! Catholics share this understanding! “Every Teaching of Jesus Christ is an instruction we must obey!”

Catholics know: “Our thoughts are the children of our brain.”

We get them under Christ’s control!
