Question 1: “Does The Bible specifically tell us there are two groups of people in Heaven?”

Answer: “Today’s Reading, Rev. 14:1-3, 4-5, tells us of one group of people who are in Heaven! ‘I, John, looked and there was the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had His Name and His Father’s Name written on their foreheads.’

Question 2: “What were these 144,000 people doing?”

Answer: “‘They were singing what seemed to be a new hymn before the throne, before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn this hymn except the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been ransomed from the earth.’

Question 3: “What makes these ‘144,000’ people so special?”

Answer: “‘These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been ransomed as the first fruits of the human race for God and the Lamb. On their lips no deceit has been found; they are unblemished.’

Question 4: “Does The Bible specifically tell us of anyone else who is in Heaven?”

Answer: “Catholic Daily Readings connect the Old Testament to the New. Luke 21:1-4 gives us Today’s Connection! ‘When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and He noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins.’

~

Question 5: “What connection does Jesus make between the ‘144,000’ in Revelation and the ‘poor widow’ who was clearly visible to the all-seeing eyes of Jesus Christ?”

Answer: “‘He said, “I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood.‘”

Question 6: “Can anyone not in either of those two ‘groups’ of people have their souls be forever in Heaven?”

Answer: “We know the facts about ourselves. And, we know that Jesus did leave ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’. Catholics know we can get His ‘keys’ from The only Church Jesus spoke into being with His Holy Word!

‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’
