Catholics know: We all have hard work to do!

Our first job is described in 1 THES 5:16-24. “Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

Catholics know! It is hard to “rejoice”, “pray without ceasing”, and “give thanks” while entire nations fall into tyranny, death, and oppression!

Our next job?

“Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophetic utterances. Test everything; retain what is good. Refrain from every kind of evil.”

Every Catholic tries to let God’s Spirit live in us. We honor The Prophecies. We “test everything” to see if it is in accord with Teachings of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies. We work hard to “refrain from every kind of evil.”!

~

Then, a harder job!

“May the God of peace make you perfectly holy and may you entirely, spirit, soul, and body, be preserved blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and He will also accomplish it.”

Our hardest job is letting “the God of peace make you perfectly holy”! We may only be “preserved blameless for the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ” in one way!

We may be “preserved blameless” only if we get our entire being, “spirit, soul, and body” to live in accord with Every Teaching of Jesus Christ!

~

Catholics must not make the mistake our beloved Protestant neighbors make. We must not go to Judgment in willful disobedience to any Teaching of Jesus Christ!

We begin by obeying His Only Church-Founding Decree!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics know: We all have hard work to do!
