Catholics listen to our Soul. Protestants listen to their Spirit.

Catholics believe:  “The most important thing I can do in life is get my soul into Heaven.”  Every Catholic knows!   Jesus told us whose souls may be allowed into Heaven.

“You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics know what that means!    “If I die in willful disobedience to Any Word of Jesus, I am among His disobedient enemies!”

Catholics begin our journey to His friendship by obeying This Word of Jesus:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics know!  “Jesus only left one set of ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ on earth!  We know who He gave them to!”

The human Spirit is a vain being.  It concentrates on feeling good about itself.  Every Protestant believes that Jesus has given their Spirit this job.  “Feel good about yourself.”

The ruling Spirits of Protestantism think it is their “Christian Duty” to feel good about themselves!   The vanity of Protestantism is easily seen.

“I believe in Jesus.  He has to let me into Heaven.”

~

The Spirits of Protestantism hide from one fact.  “I have chosen to disobey many Words of Jesus.  I have chosen to not be among ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’

Protestants agree with their Spirits.  “My Spirit has led me to believe that God must do what I tell Him.  I order God to let me into Heaven because I say that I believe in Him!”

~

The human Spirit does not like to be told what to do!  Our human Spirit wants to tell others what to do!   They expect the obedience from others that they do not give to God!

Catholics listen to our Soul.  Protestants listen to their Spirit.   They would rather have their souls suffer forever than obey Jesus for a short time on earth.

That’s Protestantism!
