Catholics read and heed 36 Words of Jesus Christ!

We will all go to Judgment. Jesus Christ will Judge our soul. Catholics pray! May my soul be among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”!

Many people are led to disobey This Instruction from He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies! “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics read and heed those 36 Words of Jesus Christ! We study what they mean.

“And” means that His following Words are important!

“I say” means that Jesus Christ, The Second Person of The Holy Trinity, is Speaking.

“unto you” tells us that Jesus Christ is speaking to one person He has chosen out of the millions living on earth. (He is also speaking to the billions who would hear His Words to that person!)

“thou” refers singularly to the one person to whom He is speaking directly.

“art Peter” tells us the actual name of the only person to whom Jesus Christ would specifically speak This Word:

“and on this rock” tells us that He has made Peter, his Successors, and His Church into a “rock”!

“I build My Church” is clear! Jesus Christ is building His Church on earth! He specifically did not build “Churches!

Then, Jesus Christ tells us that His Church will be attacked, but never defeated.

“and the gates of hell” refers to the powers of evil.

“shall not prevail against it.” Jesus Christ has promised! There will be no error in Catholic Teaching.

~

Then, what does Jesus Christ give only to Peter and His Successors?

“I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.

What more does anyone need to know than those 36 Words from Jesus Christ, Himself?
