Catholics travel on “Obedience Avenue”.  We get on that Road to Heaven by respecting Jesus.

Jesus was very clear:  “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics know that Jesus never said “You are My friends if you love Me.”  We also know that Jesus never said anything as silly as, “You are My friends if you think you have a ‘personal relationship’ with Me.”

What Jesus did say was:  “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”  So, Catholics travel on “Obedience Avenue”.

A first step on the road is obeying The Decree of Jesus:

“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Since there is Only One Church still led by a Successor of Peter, Catholics travel on “Obedience Avenue” to get there!

As Catholics travel on “Obedience Avenue”, we realize The Disciples were The First Catholic Bishops. They founded Catholic Churches that sent Catholic Representatives to Catholic Councils called by Catholic Successors to Peter for hundreds of years.  Some still do!

We are also blessed to understand that The Entire New Testament was written by those First Catholic Bishops.

As Catholics travel on “Obedience Avenue”, we find that we may obey the Clear Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated an astonishing fourteen times:

“If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”   That Holy Food may only be obtained from Catholic priests ordained in living link with The First Catholic Bishops.

Since Catholics travel on “Obedience Avenue”, we may receive His Actual Body and Blood, just like The First Catholic Bishops at The Last Supper.
