Those who enjoy criticizing The Catholic Church tend to believe they are unusually intelligent and knowledgeable.
Their criticisms are as repetitive as Hail Marys! Boring, repetitive, and unoriginal as the complaints are, each critic feels himself to be saying something new and intelligent. They think so even as they repeat the same things, over and over.
One explanation: destroying demons turn their minds into broken records. They repeat the same, tired thoughts even as they believe themselves to be creative, clever, and inventive.

Boiling down the frequently repeated criticisms:
1. “The Church should sell all its property and give the money to to the poor.” Each of the five billion poor people in the world would get about $10.00, after paying distribution costs.
2. “The Church ignored the problem of child abuse.” Sometimes, the abuse happened. False accusations are ignored, as are monies that appear to have gone to those who pretended to be abused to share in the settlements. Critics pay no attention to the facts that attorneys made money, prosecutors advanced their careers, and judges sometimes sentenced the wrong people in the interests of political correctness.
3. “The Church treats women as second class citizens and “baby factories”.” The Church denies their right to kill children who have been inconveniently conceived. These same people ignore The Church’s pro-life position, “Life must be protected from conception until natural death.” That has saved billions from death by abortion.
4. “Celibacy is unnatural.” is popular among The Profiteers of Protestantism. They choose to ignore the Example of Celibacy that Jesus practiced. “We know more than Jesus about that, too!”
5. “Catholics should read The Bible.” What does that mean? It means that those who respect Jesus enough to obey The Only Church-Founding Word of Jesus that is in The Bible: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” are wrong.
6. “Catholics worship idols.” Catholics do have reminders of obedient Saints and Angels. Those who disobey Jesus’ Church-Founding Decree do not want reminders of their own disobedience to Jesus!

That sums up most criticism leveled at The Church by all manner of self-anointed “intellectuals”. It’s absolutely pathetic. One sees that the devil works by dumbing-down his followers. They are unable, for instance, to see the huge moral gap between a hundred million intentional abortions and one or two women who sacrifice their own lives for the sake of their children’s. To lost minds and souls, those two things are equal, and the matter of greater concern is the least likely.
That, in itself, tells us a great deal about how living errors, demons, populate and destroy the thinking abilities of those in whom they live.
Criticizing The Church. Not smart, but popular. Why do people do it? They’re possessed by errors and don’t want God standing in their way.
