Reading 1 Gn 3:9-15, 20After the man, Adam, had eaten of the tree,
the LORD God called to the man and asked him, “Where are you?”
He answered, “I heard You in the garden;
but I was afraid, because I was naked,
so I hid myself.”
Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked?
You have eaten, then,
from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!”
The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me
she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.”
The LORD God then asked the woman,
“Why did you do such a thing?”
The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”
Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned
from all the animals
and from all the wild creatures;
on your belly shall you crawl,
and dirt shall you eat
all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will strike at your head,
while you strike at his heel.”
The man called his wife Eve,
because she became the mother of all the living.

Reading 2 Eph 1:3-6, 11-12
Brothers and sisters:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens,
as He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world,
to be holy and without blemish before Him.
In love He destined us for adoption to Himself through Jesus Christ,
in accord with the favor of His will,
for the praise of the glory of His grace
that He granted us in the beloved.
In him we were also chosen,
destined in accord with the purpose of the One
who accomplishes all things according to the intention of His will,
so that we might exist for the praise of His glory,
we who first hoped in Christ.
Gospel Lk 1:26-38
The angel Gabriel was sent from God
to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph,
of the house of David,
and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And coming to her, he said,
“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.”
But she was greatly troubled at what was said
and pondered what sort of greeting this might be.
Then the angel said to her,
“Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God.
Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son,
and you shall name him Jesus.
He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High,
and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father,
and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever,
and of his Kingdom there will be no end.”
But Mary said to the angel,
“How can this be,
since I have no relations with a man?”
And the angel said to her in reply,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.
Therefore the child to be born
will be called holy, the Son of God.
And behold, Elizabeth, your relative,
has also conceived a son in her old age,
and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren;
for nothing will be impossible for God.”
Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word.”
Then the angel departed from her.
Catholic Fundamentalism Interpretation:
After the first human program to be downloaded, Adam, had disobeyed The Operating Instructions, The Loving Programmer asked him “Where are you?”
The first human program answered, “I knew you were there, but I was hid, ashamed of being naked.”
The Loving Programmer asked, “Who told you? You have made an unauthorized download!”
The first human program said, “It was the second human program whom You downloaded. She gave me the download, so I downloaded it into myself.”
The Loving Programmer asked the 2nd human download, “Why did you make an unauthorized download?”
She said, “The virus corrupted me so that I could not say no. He was so convincing that I ate it.”
So, The Loving Programmer limited the virus’s power to corrupt. He took away its imposing character, and made it look like what it was, a cold-blooded snake. He was reprogrammed to be forced to get around by crawling in the dirt as long as it lived. (“of dirt shall you eat” may also describe the souls of those giving in to it.)
The Loving Programmer also changed the woman’s program so that it would pass on hatred of the virus for what it had done to all her future human downloads. Those programs would try to destroy the virus, but it could only access their basest entry points.
The man called his wife “Eve”, because she became the source of all future human downloads.
R. Praise The Loving Programmer in a new way, by recognizing His marvelous downloads.
Sing Him a new song that recognizes Him as The Loving Programmer Who has downloaded all there is. In His fight against evil, His Program (Who appeared in living form in the person of Jesus) had defeated all His enemies through His holy obedience.

The Loving Programmer has let us know that we may have our souls with Him forever. He let us know in front of the whole world. He has again shown us His kindness and faithfulness toward His favored human downloads.

All the people on earth have seen the cross and Him crucified on it. So, all who understand what they have seen should break into song, praising Him.

Brothers and Sisters, Blessed be The Loving Programmer and the fullness of The Creation Program, Who appeared in the form of Jesus Christ.
He has blessed us (who are) in The Loving Program with every good download He can provide. (The fact is) He wrote The Program before He downloaded any of it, and we were written into His Program then. We were selected to (after purifying ourselves with The Sacrament of Reconciliation) have all our sins erased so we would stand holy and unblemished before Him.
(Why did He do that?) He loved us so much that He wanted to adopt us as His own children through (the power of) Jesus Christ, The Program in perfect, loving, obedient form. Our salvation is in accord with the favor of His will for the praise of the glory of His grace that He granted us in (His) beloved (Son).
We, ourselves, were also chosen, programmed in accord with The Creation Program Who did and does everything that’s done according to what He wants, so that we might (learn to) live simply to praise His glory, we who first were given access to The Download that is Christ.
Gabriel, one of the most powerful Programming Assistants, was sent by The Loving Programmer to Nazareth, in Galilee. He was sent there to speak to a virgin engaged to a man named Joseph, of David’s house.
The virgin’s name was Mary. When Gabriel, one of the most powerful beings in The Creation Program, came to Her, He said, “You are mightier than I, full of grace because The Loving Programmer, Himself, has made Himself downloadable within You, Mary.”
She was greatly puzzled at those words (not to mention at who was saying them), and wondered what it might mean.
Gabriel said to Her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary, because You have found favor with God. Behold, The Very Creation Program will take human form and be conceived within You. If you agree, you will bear a (His) son, and name Him Jesus. He will be great and be called Son of the Most High, and The Loving Programmer will give Him David’s throne from which to rule, and He will rule over Jacob’s house forever. Of His Kingdom (unlike David’s earthly kingdom) there will be no erasure. It will go on, forever.”
But, Mary said to Gabriel: “How can this be, since I have no relations with a man?” Gabriel answered, “The Holy Wireless Connector will download within You the power of The Loving Programmer that will eclipse your own, human program.
Because of that, the Child to be born will be called holy, The Son of God.
(To prove it to you) You will see Elizabeth, your much older cousin, has conceived a son in her old age, and is three months away from giving birth, though she was thought to be barren; but all programming and all downloads are possible for The Loving Programmer.”
Mary said, “Behold, I will surrender Myself to His Will. May His Download take place within Me according to what He has told me, through you.”
Then, Gabriel left Her.
