God uses Democracy to judge the souls of voters and candidates. #65.

Jesus said that only a 'fool[ would not 'act;' on His Words.

Jesus summed up the Ten Commandments so that no one would have an excuse to support those whose “strange gods” kept them from “Loving God and their neighbors as themselves.”

~

Question 1:  “How does God use democracies to judge the souls of voters and candidates?

Answer:  “Once, God judged souls by how well they obeyed The Ten commandments:

  1. I am the LORD your God: you shall not have strange Gods before me.
  2. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the LORD’S Day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8.  You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.

Then, Jesus fulfilled The Prophecies by coming to earth in human form in Bethlehem.  He gave us This Commandment:  ‘Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.'”

Question 2:  “Did Jesus give us specific Teachings to guide candidates and voters?”

Answer:  “Luke 16: 9-15 is very clear!  ‘Jesus said to His disciples:  ‘I tell you, make friends for yourselves with dishonest wealth, so that when it fails, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.’

~

Question 3:  “Was Jesus clear about the only people who would be ‘welcomed’ into Heaven?”

Answer:  “‘The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones;  and the person who is dishonest in very small matters is also dishonest in great ones.’

~

Question 4:  “Does that mean that ‘small matters’, like our individual votes, show God what kind of people we are?”

Answer:  “Those who believe meaningfully in Jesus will think about this!  ‘If, therefore, you are not trustworthy with dishonest wealth, who will trust you with true wealth?’  Those who use public office to misuse money taken from others do not have a happy eternity!”

~

Question 5:  “Jesus tells us that voters are involved in every election:  ‘If you are not trustworthy with what belongs to another, who will give you what is yours?’”  Believers Think Clearly enough to know!  That ‘who’ is the devil!  The devil ‘will give you what is yours’!”

~

Question 6:  “Is our choice clear in every election?”

Answer:  “Jesus makes it clear!  ‘No servant can serve two masters.  He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.’

~

Question 7:  “What did the semi-religious politicians in The Time of Jesus do when they heard That Word of Jesus?”

Answer:  “‘The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all these things and sneered at Him.’

~

Question 8:  “What did Jesus tell them, and everyone who would use political office for self-enrichment?”

Answer:  “‘And he said to them, ‘You justify yourselves in the sight of others, but God knows your hearts; . . .’

~

Question 9:  “Did Jesus tell such people what God will think of them when they stand before Him at Judgment?”

Answer:  “Jesus was very clear about that!  ‘for what is of human esteem is an abomination in the sight of God.’

~

Question 10:  “What is the ‘true wealth’ that Jesus died to let us have?”

Answer:  “‘True wealth’ for our immortal souls comes from following Teachings of Moses and Jesus.”

May we all be blessed to guide our votes by what is summed up This Catholic Teaching“Life must be protected from conception until natural death.”   We should choose to support those who will protect every good aspect of every human life.
