God’s IQ Test. #63. “Do I strive to obey This Teaching of Jesus Christ?”

.                                                           Jesus was clear.  “Few” travel the “narrow road”.

Mt 7:6, 12-14 tells us many things!   First of all, Jesus told us we must be careful about what we say and to whom we say it!

“Jesus said to his disciples:  ‘Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.'”

Question 1.  “Was Jesus telling us that it is dangerous to tell some people about His Love and Truth?”

Answer:  “Yes.”

~

After that warning, Jesus gave these Instructions.  “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.  This is the Law and the Prophets.”

Question 2.  “Did Jesus tell us how we should deal with our neighbors?

Answer:  “Yes.”

~

Then, Jesus told us about two different “gates” and “roads”.

“Enter through the narrow gate;  for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many.”

Question 3.  “Did Jesus tell us which ‘gate’ and ‘road’ we should choose if we want to avoid ‘destruction’?”

Answer:  “Yes!  Jesus said it was best to be among the “few” who are able to pass through the “narrow gate”.

~

Jesus told us about our journey on earth.  “How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life.  And those who find it are few.”

Question 4.  “Did Jesus tell us that it would be easy to ‘find’ the ‘road that leads to life’?”

Answer:  “No.”

~

Question 5.    “Did Jesus leave ‘keys’ to the ‘narrow gate’ onthe road that leads to life’?   ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’?”

Answer:  No one knows of any other “keys” that Jesus Christ left on earth!
