Today, St. Paul’s Letter to The Romans 9:15, is specifically addressed to Confessing Catholics:
“Brothers and sisters: “I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie: my conscience joins with The Holy Spirit in bearing me witness that I have great sorrow and constant anguish in my heart.”
His “great sorrow and constant anguish” is for all who willfully avoid grateful obedience to He Whom their Prophets predicted: “They are the children of Israel (Abraham’s DNA was upgraded by Melchizedek in God’s First Catholic Communion, as is the DNA of all who receive it, Genesis 14:18.); theirs the adopton, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises: theirs the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, is The Christ, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.”
Today, Psalm 147:12-14, 19-20 includes a Prophecy that predicts Catholic Communion for those whose sins are Absolved by Confession: “With the best of wheat He feeds you!“. That Prophecy blesses us to be among those who recognize God’s Power to provide His Body and Blood to obedient Catholics. It is so important that Jesus repeated 1 command 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.” There is no better way to “get our immortal soul out of the mud”!
For 2,000 years, God’s blessed Catholic priests and religious have helped God “send forth his command to the earth; swiftly runs His Word! He has proclaimed His Word to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel.” Catholics realize God’s Merciful Love for us let His often-propesied Son of a Virgin from The House of David be born in Bethlehem and Speak One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you (Catholics!) the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Today’s “Alleluia” from John 10:27 clearly identifies those who respect The Prophesied Messiah enough to Be Catholic! “My sheep hear My voice, says The Lord; I know them and they follow Me.”
The self-serving hypocrisy of those who say they “I believe in God’s Prophets” but let worldly concerns keep them from “following” He Whom the Prophets predicted is seen in their inability to answer Christ’s simple question: “‘Who among you, if your son or ox falls into a cistern, would not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?’ They were (and are!) unable to answer His question.”
Catholics know: Confession and Absolution “pull us out of every cistern” into which our souls sink and let us receive His Actual Body and Blood by receiving Catholic Communion, especially on “the Sabbath day”.
~
Today’s Simple Rhyme: “Christ’s Body and Blood / pull us out of the mud.”
