God changed the names of 60 important people in The Bible. “Abram” became “Abraham.” “Jacob” was changed to “Israel”. “Simon” had his name changed by Jesus to “Cephas”, the Greek word for “Rock”. “Saul” had his name changed to “Paul”.
In every case, the new name described the power and purpose God gave to that person. God’s “name changes” give us a profound reason to be Catholic!
Catholics consider an overlooked “name change”!

The “second beast” was prophesied in Mt. 24:24 by Jesus Christ, Himself! “false prophets will arise and produce great signs and portents, enough to deceive even the chosen, if that were possible. There; I have forewarned you.”!
2 Thessalonians 2: 9-12 tells us why! “But when the Rebel comes, Satan will set to work: there will be all kinds of miracles and a deceptive show of signs and portents and every evil that can deceive those who are bound for destruction because they would not grasp the love of the truth which could have saved them.”
Why did God do that? “The reason why God is sending a power to delude them and make them believe what is untrue is to condemn all who refused to believe in the truth and choose wickedness instead.”

That is a frightening truth! God has chosen to condemn those who knowingly and willfully refuse to “believe in the truth and choose wickedness instead”!
“false prophets” all teach people this “wickedness”! They teach donors to disobey This Teaching Command of Jesus Christ, Himself!
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

The “second beast” was given that name in Rev. 13:11. The “second beast” was re-named the “false prophet” in Rev. 19:20. “the beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet”.
God’s “name changes” give us a profound reason to be Catholic!
How can there be another way of being forever among: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”?
