Question 1: “Where does Today’s Reading specifically tell us to ‘Be Catholic!’?”

Answer: “Acts 4:1-12 lets everyone see The Bible calling us to ‘Be Catholic!’:
‘After the crippled man had been cured, while Peter and John were still speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple guard, and the Sadducees confronted them, disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.’

Question 2: “What did those early Profiteers of Protestantism do?”

Answer: “‘They laid hands on Peter and John and put them in custody until the next day, since it was already evening.’

~

Question 3: “Were they able to keep people from being among the first Catholics?”

Answer: “No! ‘But many of those who heard The Word came to believe and the number of men grew to about five thousand.’ Most of those ‘men’ had wives and children. There may have been 30,000 out of the 3 million people the historian Josephus told us pilgrimaged to Jerusalem at Passover.”

Question 4: “What did the Profiteers of Protestantism do to Peter and John?”

Answer: “The people who hired the mob that forced Pontius Pilate to crucify Jesus assembled! ‘On the next day, their leaders, elders, and scribes were assembled in Jerusalem, with Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and all who were of the high-priestly class. They brought them into their presence and questioned them,
‘By what power or by what name have you done this?’

Question 5: “How did The First Catholic Pope, personally chosen by Jesus when He Spoke His Church-Creating Word, (Mt. 16:18-20) ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven’ reply to the early Profiteers of Protestantism?”

Answer: ‘Then Peter, filled with The Holy Spirit, answered them: ‘Leaders of the people and elders: If we are being examined today about a good deed done to a cripple, namely, by what means he was saved, then all of you and all the people of Israel should know that it was in The Name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean Whom you crucified, Whom God raised from the dead; in His Name this man stands before you healed.’

~

Question 6: “What happened after that?”

Answer: “The First Catholic Pope explained to the powerful Judges why they, and every person on earth, should listen to Jesus and ‘Be Catholic!’:

He is the stone rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved.’

~

Question 7: “What are Catholics blessed to do when they see That Holy Word in The Bible from The First Catholic Pope?”

Answer: “We think of every name of every Profiteer of Protestantism in the last 2,000 years and understand The Bible Fact: Catholics are the only people on earth who are blessed to see that not one Profiteer of Protestantism who ever lived has the ‘name under Heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved.’
