Jesus calls them: “you evildoers.”

Many Protestants don’t listen to Jesus.  Mt 7: 21-29 is clear.  Jesus describes those who say “I believe in Jesus and The Bible so I am saved!”  Jesus calls them:  “you evildoers.”

“Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name?  Did we not drive out demons in your name?  Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’  Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you.  Depart from me, you evildoers.’”

Jesus describes those so proud to think that their mere belief will get them into Heaven.  Jesus calls them:  “you evildoers.”

What is the “evil” that these prideful people do?  They have replaced God with self-worship.

“God can’t keep me out of Heaven if I say I believe!” is saying “I am stronger than God.”

That self-serving vanity puts people above God.  “I do not need to obey or seek mercy.  I only need to announce that ‘I believe in Jesus and The Bible!’ and I get into Heaven!”

Jesus calls them : “you evildoers.”

Entire denominations are built on those foundations of vanity.  Every Sunday, a half-million Pastor Bobs tell their followers: “I believe!  You believe!  We are all going to Heaven!”  They congratulate themselves for being able to tell God what He must do.

How do we know they are wrong?  Billions of unborn babies are killed by abortion-inducing birth control.  Out of 45,000 Marketing Plan Denominations filled with people who recite “I believe in Jesus and The Bible so I am going to Heaven.”, only a half-dozen have clear, written condemnation of the abortion-inducing birth control that kills their own, tiniest children.

No wonder Jesus calls them: “you evildoers”.
