Vanity destroys by keeping many from seeing that Jesus says:  “Be Catholic!”

The minds of the vain are confused by self-centeredness.  They are unable to recognize and organize what their eyes bring into their minds.   Demons lead them to believe:  “My vanity is reality!”  That is the heart of Protestantism.

Catholics are blessed with the humility to obey Jesus.  We put a few sentences of His together and gratefully realize that Jesus says:  “Be Catholic!”

“I am the way and the truth and the life, says the Lord;  no one comes to the Father except through me.”

That leads to “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

His most repeated Teaching?  His obedient sheep obey His clear call to Catholic Communion.  Jesus repeated fourteen times:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Catholics connect that to The First Catholic Mass at The Last Supper, where His earlier words came into Everlasting Being:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

When Catholics are tempted to avoid The Only Church He Founded, we more to see the awful fate that awaits the disobedient:

John 3:36 is clear: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

That is a specific warning to Protestantism!  The souls of those who believe in Jesus have “eternal life”.  What of Protestants  who believe but do “not obey”?  They have “the wrath of God” remaining on their immortal souls forever!

Catholics have enough order in their minds to see that obeying and having “eternal life” in Heaven is preferable to having “the wrath of God” remaining on our soul forever.  Protestantism does not see that Jesus says:  “Be Catholic!”
