Our brain is a book.   Every memory and fact is written on pages in various chapters.  When we think, our spirit goes from page to page and chapter to chapter.  The first page of The Arithmetic Chapter tells us that “Two and two make four.” The History Chapter reminds us that “The War of 1812 was fought in 1812.”

Our spirit reads the book.  Our soul tells it what to read.  If we are blessed, our soul will say, “Spirit, stay away from the dirty parts.”  Pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust and sloth dwell in the dirty parts.

The best part of our book is where we may be blessed to find The Gifts of The Holy Spirit.  The best of our book has chapters on Wisdom, Understanding, Cou

When we have finished reading, our book will be closed.  It is burned or buried.  No more facts, memories, or spirit!

Then, our soul leaves the leaves of our book and goes to Judgment.  We hope to hear:  “You were a good reader!  You focused on reading the books The Librarian recommended!  You obeyed The Librarian!   Welcome!”

Then, our soul finds itself in The Book So Big!  That Book contains ALL the books ever written.  We see The Author, The Publisher, The Printer, and all the pages there are, were, and will ever be written!

How do we know where our soul will go?

The Author told us what to read:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

He made that clear when He said so clearly:  “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

His friends respected Him enough to have read and obeyed His teachings.

What about those who chose to let pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust and sloth make them think that merely reading and believing is enough to get a good review from The Critic?

John 3:36 is clear: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

We pray to obey and get a good review so we may read forever in The Book So Big!
