Question 1: “Is it Jesus Who is Prophesied by Isaiah 5:10-11?”

Answer:  “That is clear:  ‘The Lord was pleased to crush Him in infirmity.’ because:  ‘If He gives his life as an offering for sin, He shall see his descendants in a long life, and the will of The Lord shall be accomplished through Him.’

Because of His affliction, He shall see the light in fullness of days;  through His suffering, My servant shall justify many and their guilt He shall bear.’

Question 2:  “Do Catholics and our priests connect that with Today’s Psalm?”

Answer:  “Psalm 33:4-5, 18-19, 20 & 22 make The Catholic Connection‘Lord, let Your mercy be on us, as we place our trust in You.’  We know His Word is ‘upright and all His works are Trustworthy’, and that ‘He loves Justice and right’ and ‘the earth is full of His kindness.’

Catholics know God’s ‘eyes are upon those who fear Him, and those who hope for His kindness to deliver them from death,’ and also ‘preserve them in spite of famine.’ So our Catholic ‘souls wait for The Lord Who is our help and our shield, asking again (and again, and again, and again!) for His ‘kindness’

Question 3:  “What gives Jesus The Power to get God’s Mercy for our souls?”

Answer:  “That Simple Truth is explained in Heb 4: 14-16!  ‘Brothers and sisters:
Since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens,  Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One Who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin.
So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.’ ‘timely’ means to use the rest of our ‘time’ on earth more wisely!”

Question 4:  “Do Catholic priests and religious make that easier to understand?”

Answer:  “That’s why The Mass has us say ‘Alleluia, alleluia!‘ before and after This Word of God from Mark 10:45!  ‘The Son of Man came to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.’!”

~

Question 5:  “How can we know that Catholic priests and religious are the people who ‘give their lives as a ransom for many’?”

Answer:  “There are two Reasons to Be Catholic!  1.  Jesus Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with His Word to The First Catholic Pope:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

2.  Catholic priests and religious take Vows of Poverty, Celibacy, and Obedience.  They live the conclusion of Today’s Reading:  ‘Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you will be your servant;  whoever wishes to be first among you will be the slave of all.’

May all be blessed to go to God’s Judgment after making This Heartfelt Plea: “God, please let me be as Catholic as I can.”
