We spend our lives swimming in a sea of lies. Every day, groups of liars tell more lies, each of which is designed to cost us more money. Sometimes, as happened in the last election, large numbers of people realize they are being hurt by lies and get rid of a lot of liars. That doesn’t happen often. Most liars go through life knowing they will never be injured by any who love truth.
Those who tell lies have no other way to make much more than minimum wage than by lying. They are so untrustworthy that no one will put them in charge of private funds. They steal everything that’s not nailed down. Whatever they’re involved in is sure to end up in a mess. They will do whatever they have to in order to get more money for themselves. They grow and multiply.
Opposed to the gangs of liars are those who do not bear false witness. They have no weapons, aside from the truth. About all they can do is pray.
Those who understand that He Who wrote and downloaded The Creation Program listens to those who love Him. Requests to Him for programming assistance are often granted. So, we may ask Him to download a love of truth and a hatred of lies within those who lie. “Please, God, let them see that lying is wrong and lead them to love and tell the truth.”
We can do that while we ask Him to let us live in such a way that we may encourage a love of truth in those around us.
When we see people who are not doing well, it is often because they lie. Poor and middle-class liars are simply not bright enough to be liars of the “professional” class. Little liars are despised by those who love to wallow in the big lies.
