Mary is far more than many modern Catholics believe Her to be. Still, they are more aware of Her greatness in The Creation Program than Protestants, who are largely clueless of Her closeness to God.
In the great work, The City of God, Sister Mary Agreda makes this point:
1. Mary is the daughter of The Father.
2. Mary is the spouse of the Holy Spirit.
3. Mary is the Mother of The Son.
No one else has that relationship with each Person of The Holy Trinity. Her power to make effective intercession on our behalf comes from that.
Mary is Creation’s most perfect person. As we become more aware of Her closeness to God, we become aware of Her great desire to help us.
It is to be ignored at the greatest of all risks.
