May every Christian Think Clearly about This Passage!

.     Every person will choose one of two things in life:  ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ OR ‘the wrath of God’.

~

Question 1:  “What is One Passage that Every Christian must Think Clearly about?”

Answer:  “Today’s Reading includes John 3:31-36.  It begins begin with something every Christian knows:  ‘ The one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things.  The One Who comes from above is above all.’   Every Christian knows that!”

~

Question 2:  “Why is that last Passage repeated, ‘But, the one who comes from heaven is above all.’?”

Answer:  “St. John wanted us to know how people of the world react to Every Teaching of Jesus Christ:   ‘He testifies to what He has seen and heard, but no one (among worldly people) accepts His testimony.’
~
~
Question 3:  “What does St. John teach us next?”
Answer:  “He tells us what those who seek obedience to Every Word of Jesus do on God’s behalf.   ‘Whoever does accept His testimony certifies that God is trustworthy.’
~
~
Question 4:  “Does God provide all the information we need to understand that Jesus is ‘trustworthy’?”
Answer:  “Yes!  ‘For The One Whom God sent speaks The Words of God.  He does not ration His gift of the Spirit.’
~
~
Question 5:  “What Power has The Father given to His Son?”
Answer:  ”‘The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to Him.’
~
~
Question:  “‘everything’ includes ‘every thing‘!  The ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ are among ‘every thing’.  If we disobey Any Word of The Son, can we still get into Heaven?”
.
Answer:  “The next Word in The Bible is very clear about that!  ‘Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.’
~
~
Question 7:  “Will every true believer obey This Word of The Son?”

‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Answer:  “May all be blessed to obey That Word, be in His Church, get His ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ and not have ‘the wrath of God remain on’ them.
