Jonah and the “huge fish” tell us: “A Protestant is saved by becoming Catholic.”

Jonah and the "huge fish" symbolize all whose souls are saved by Being Catholic.

When God wanted Jonah to fight against sin in Nineveh, he did what many do:  Johah fled from God.

Today, when God wants Catholics to fight against the overwhelming evils around us, many become Protestants.  The devil’s favorite delusion convinces many to run from the battle against evil by believing:  “I am doing good by ignoring The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

As they flee, lost Catholics go “down into the hold” of whatever ship they choose and “sleep through the storms of destruction” that are the waves of confusion that Protestants bring to themselves and their nations.  The sin of “fleeing from The LORD” causes many to be “thrown into the sea”!

Today’s Catholic Reading from The Book Jonah (1:1-2, 2:1-2, and 11) lets us know:  “the huge fish”  may save us!

We may be saved by being swallowed by the “huge fish” that is The Catholic Church.  By telling those in whatever Ninevah we live in about God’s Holy, Life-giving, Church-Creating Word, we may be saved from the storms that have been sinking tens of thousands of Protestant ships that share The One Belief in every Nineveh that is heading for destruction:  “We know more than He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies from God about getting ourselves the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven!”

In every Nineveh in what was once Christendom, every Jonah can clearly see that every Protestant ship from the Nicolaitans to the Arians to the Episcopalians has either sunk or is sinking.

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “Many sink into self-serving sins. / In the war for souls, Catholics win.”
