Question 1: “Why s The Prophet Jeremiah so important in Today’s Reading?”
Answer: “The Prophet Jeremiah warns us that ‘The Friends of Babylon’ always try to destroy all who obey This Life-Saving Word of God: ‘You shall not kill.’”

Question 2: “Did God warn Jeremiah that ‘The friends of Babylon’ were ‘plotting’ to destroy him?”
Answer: “In Jeremiah 11:18-20, God told Jeremiah about their ‘plots’ against him for preaching God’s Word. ‘I knew their plot because The Lord informed me; at that time you, O Lord, showed me their doings.’”

Question 3: “Why didn’t Jeremiah figure that out for himself?”
Answer: “‘Yet I, like a trusting lamb led to slaughter, had not realized that they were hatching plots against me: ‘Let us destroy the tree in its vigor; let us cut him off from the land of the living, so that his name will be spoken no more.’”

Question 4: “What did Jeremiah ask God to do when he realized that God’s enemies, ‘The Friends of Babyon’, were ‘plotting’ to destroy him?'”
Answer: “Jeremiah asked God for this Great Blessing! ‘But, you, O Lord of hosts, O just Judge, searcher of mind and heart, let me witness the vengeance You take on them, for to You I have entrusted my cause!’”

Question 5: “Did God let Jeremiah ‘witness the vengeance’ that God sent to ‘The Friends of Babylon’?”
Answer: “Jeremiah watched them suffer the agony of seeing everything they owned be destroyed as they were taken to 70 years of Babylonian Captivity.”

Question 6: “Does God send His ‘enemies’ in every age and nation to ‘Babylonian Captivity’?”
“Every nation in History is often ruled byPowerful ‘Friends of Babylon’. They spend their lives killing and enslaving their neighbors while leading them to sacrifice living children on Babylon’s ‘altars of convenience’.”

Question 7: “Who can be spared from The Babylonian Captivity that brings death and slavery to billions of people?”
Answer: “People in many religions show their love of God and all their neighbors by upholding This Catholic Teaching: ‘Life must be protected from conception until natural death.’ Those of every faith who live by That Truth may be saved ‘if they are not Catholic through no fault of their own.'”

Question 8: “An odd question! ‘Is there a greater blessing on earth than to be attacked by ‘The Friends of Babylon’?”
Answer: “There is no better way to get our soul into Heaven and ‘let us witness the vengeance You take on them, for to You I have entrusted my cause.'”

Question 9: “Can those who are among ‘The Friends of Babylon’ save their souls?”
Answer: “Luke 8:15 tells that ‘The Friends of Babylon’ are free to ask for God’s Blessing and not be among those otherwise destined for damnation:
‘As for the seed that fell among thorns, they are the ones who have heard, but as they go along, they are choked by the anxieties and riches and pleasures of life, and they fail to produce mature fruit.’
