Today’s Reading tells us which souls are “greatest in Heaven”
~
Question 1: “Does Today’s Catholic Reading explain how Moses helped open the door to Heaven for saved souls?”
Answer: “God sent Moses to lead his people out of slavery, provide them with The Ten Commandments, give them The First Five Books of The Bible, and bring them closer to God in the 40 years it took them to reach The Promised Land.”

Question 2: “How does that connect with Jesus, 2,000 years later?”
Answer: “The Rock in the desert gave water for the people, manna from heaven fed the people, the cross with the bronze serpent cured the people, and the Temple in the Tent got them ready for the Temple to be built in Jerusalem so Jesus could be presented to God.”

Question 3: “Did Jesus agree that Moses predicted His Coming?”
Answer: “John 5:46, Jesus said: ‘If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.’ St. Thomas Aquinas connected Catholics who believe in Jesus with Moses by quoting Deut. 18:15: ‘The Lord your God will raise up a prophet for you, from your nation and your brothers; he will be like me: you will listen to him.’”

Question 4: “Over 300 Prophecies include predictions that the Messiah would be born to a virgin of the House of David in the tiny village of Bethlehem. What did Jesus think of those Prophecies that predicted Him?”
Answer: “Today’s Reading from Mt, 5;17-19 makes that clear! ‘Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.’
Today, 2,000 years later, we see that was an absolutely staggering announcement. Our powerful telescopes show us that God’s Creation Program began to be downloaded 13 trillion lightyears ago! Catholics connect that to:
‘Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.’”

Question 5: “What do Catholics gain by obeying He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies?”
Answer: “Every soul is either ‘least‘ or ‘greatest’. The ‘least souls’ are described: ‘Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven.’
Then, Jesus defines the souls that will be regarded as ‘greatest’ at His Judgment: ‘But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.’”
