Each chooses:  “New wine” or grape juice?  Catholics choose “new wine”.   Protestants prefer grape juice.

Matthew, Mark, and Luke repeat Jesus’ teaching.   “Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins;  otherwise, the skins burst, the wine runs out, and the wineskins are lost.  No; they put new wine in new wineskins and both are preserved.”

Christ’s Actual Body and Blood are the “new wine”.  That Holy Food is provided at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.

The Catholic Church is “The Big Wineskin“.  Her priests change wine into The Blood of Christ at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.  They have provided the “new wine” to obedient Catholics at every Mass for 2,000 years.

Each obedient Catholic is a “little wineskin”.   We are blessed to receive the “new wine” at Catholic Communion.  That is the only way we may obey what Jesus repeated 14 times:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Catholics are blessed!  We take Jesus seriously!  We obey Jesus!  We love Jesus enough to be in  The Only Church He Founded by decreeing:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

In every generation, “Many are called.  Few are chosen.”  How do we know if we are chosen?  Because He said “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

We know we are “chosen” if we have the obedience to be a “new wineskin” and receive His Actual Body and Blood, the “new wine”, from the only men on earth empowered to provide it.

“New wine” or grape juice?  Pride leads many to prefer grape juice.
