“Obedience” is The Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”. #22.

Today's Readings show us what happens to those who choose to spread their "Confusion Headaches" to others.

Today’s Readings predict the fate of those who infect others with the “Confusion Headaches” that afflict all who willfully disobey any Words of God.  The Book of Wisdom, 1:1-7, begins by telling us to “Love justice, you who judge the earth;” and to “think of The Lord in goodness and seek Him in integrity of heart because He is found by those who test Him not, and He manifests Himself to those who do not disbelieve Him.”

The oldest Christian Bible lets us learn what leads people away from the Catholic faith!  “For perverse counsels separate a man from God, and His power, put to the proof, rebukes the foolhardy;  because into a soul that plots evil, wisdom enters not, and does not dwell in a body under debt of sin.  For the Holy Spirit of discipline flees deceit and withdraws from senseless counsels;  and when injustice occurs, it is rebuked.”

Anti-Catholics hate the “Spirit of discipline” that lets countless millions of people find joy in monasteries and convents!  Those who hired the Profiteers of Protestantism to invent and spread self-serving versions of Christianity wanted people to be slaves, soldiers, and servants and do their will instead of serving God and their families.  All of them suffer from “Confusion Headaches” that keep them from understanding History’s simple fact.

The Book of Wisdom tells us that Catholics are blessed to “believe” every Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies, including His Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Those who flee the Teachings of God are described:  “For The Holy Spirit of discipline flees deceit and withdraws from senseless counsels; and when injustice occurs it is rebuked.  For wisdom is a kindly spirit, yet she acquits not the blasphemer of his guilty lips;  Because God is the witness of their inmost self and the sure observer of their heart and the listener to their words.”

There is no escape from the “Confusion Headaches” that afflict all who are willfully disobedient to any Word of God!  “For the Spirit of the Lord fills the world, is all-embracing, and knows what man says.”.  That is why Catholics obey Psalm 139:1-10, and ask God to “Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.”

Catholics see that our duty is to “Shine like lights in the world, as you hold on to the word of life.”, Phil. 2:15-16.  We see the cause of “Confusion Headaches” in Luke 7:1-6 by what He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies told us:  “Jesus said to His disciples, ‘things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the one through whom they occur.”

Then, Jesus tells us the eternal fate of Arius, Luther, Calvin, and the others who led people to reject the Teachings of The Church Spoken into Being by Jesus:  “It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.”!
