Question 1: “How do Catholics connect the ‘stone’ of David with the ‘rock’ of Jesus?”
Answer: “1 Samuel 17:32-51 tells us about David using a ‘smooth stone’ to kill Goliath, the toughest warrior in The Philistine Army.”

Answer: “He identified the weak point in Goliath’s armor that left part of his forehead exposed.”

Answer: “King David’s first job was as a ‘shepherd’. He spent years taking care of his father’s sheep. Shepherds had a lot of time on their hands while the sheep were grazing. They used that time to practice throwing stones with their slings.”

Answer: “Shepherds needed food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. David could see that the uncovered place on Goliath’s forehead was no bigger than the birds he needed to kill every day for food.”

To do that, Jesus had to have a ‘rock’ that was harder than a human head. His ‘rock’ hit His Chosen People with Catholic Teachings that would go through their unprotected foreheads.”

Question 5: “Was ‘the rock of Peter’ God’s ‘updated’ version of David’s ‘smooth stone’ that God chose throw against every ‘soldier of evil’ used by the devil to wage war on God’s people in every generation?”
Answer: “Peter and The Catholic Church are ‘God’s rock’. Catholic Teachings are the, ‘smooth stone’ with which God blesses billions of people to defeat the Deadly Sins. They loom like ‘goliath’s in our mind every time they attack our mind and soul.”
