Pastor Bob, more to ignore

It’s never fun to watch Pastor Bobs and their Bobists, scattered among 43,000 competing sects and schisms, say “We believe in Jesus and The Bible.” even as they ignore, twist, and hide whole sections of the Bible.

Pastor Bobs never like to think much about Mary. They gloss over verses describing her, like Lk 1:39-56. Those passages provide Pastor Bob, more to ignore.

Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said,“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.”

Those holy words, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus” are minimized by non-Catholics, even though they concern Jesus and are in The Bible they say they believe. Their zeal to ignore these important passages has a reason, and we see it in what follows:
And Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, and has scattered the proud in their conceits.”
That last line describes perfectly the Pastor Bobs who’ve begun their 43,000 factions and denominations. They are living proof that “He has scattered the proud in their conceits.” Similarly, those who follow them are “scattered in their conceits”, the 43,000 Pastor Bobisms.
Could there be a more perfect description of so many, many schisms, sects and factions as “He has scattered the proud in their conceits”?
What follows is a prophecy that predicts the collapse of Catholic Kings and Queens as they and their people turned from The Church to worship earthly idols of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity:
“He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.”
We who believe take hope from the conclusion of the passage: “He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he has remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children forever. Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home.”

Of those who prefer to be “scattered” among the 43,000 factions, the total Bible offers Pastor Bob, more to ignore. The fact is made clear by the passage above that describes every faction. Pastor Bob: “We believe much of what Jesus said. We believe many parts of The Bible. None of us believe all that Jesus taught. Only Catholics do that.”
