Pastor Bobitudes make no sense.   Pastor Bobs make a big deal of “Sola Fide”. “We are saved by faith, alone!”

Then, “Only Fide” is followed by four other “Onlys”.  “Only Scriptura”, “Only Christus”, “Only Grace” and “Only Deo Gloria” complete the “Five Solas on any of which anyone may bet their soul. “Sola” means “only”. “Only” means one. How can they have five “onlys”?

Do they know how to count? Are they aware of the difference between singular and plural?  Is there something clever in contradiction? Pastor Bobitudes make no sense.

Incredibly, none of the Pastor Bobs notice!

Catholics are blessed.  We do not confuse one with five!

Jesus does not once tell us “You can get to Heaven if you put the word ‘Sola’ in front of ‘Fide’, ‘Scriptura’, ‘Christus’, ‘Gratia, and ‘De0 Gloria’ while looking sincere.”

Instead, Jesus tells us one thing about The Only Church He Founded:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Pastor Bobs also ignore the one instruction Jesus repeated 14 times, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Not one Pastor Bob will admit that Christ’s Body and Blood have been provided in every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.  They prefer their never-never land where there are “Five Solas”.

Catholics do recognize one Sola:   Sola Obedience.  Why?  Jesus said “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

What happens to those who blather on about Sola This and Sola That?  John 3:36 is clear: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

That simple statement is a sentence to be studied by Sola-spewing simpletons.  We pray they will see that Pastor Bobitudes make no sense.  Obedience does.
