“The Proclamation of the Kingdom”

On Thursdays, those who say the Rosary pray the Luminous Mysteries, instituted by Pope John Paul II.

The Third Luminous Mystery is “The Proclamation of the Kingdom”.

That’s an especially illuminating Mystery for Catholic Fundamentalists. Unlike others, we see God as The Unprogrammed Programmer. We understand that He programmed all Creation with His ability to program energies and particles which He then compiled into the systems and beings which include us and everything else.

One does not have to believe that to appreciate “The Proclamation of the Kingdom”, but it certainly makes it easier. We see that God has programmed two types of beings, sheep and goats. We also know that one can choose to move from being a sheep to being a goat and vice versa. His Kingdom, often called “Zion” is where those who believe and obey choose to live.

We see enough of The Program to know that our souls are programmed as immortal entities, and that, therefore, they must spend eternity somewhere. We also see enough of The Program to realize that it is a program, in which we are privileged to live, ever grateful for the great gifts He has given us.

It is ever astonishing to us that anyone in their right mind would not choose to see, as we do, the wonderful Kingdom that The Loving Programmer has programmed, both in this world and beyond. It is even more incredible that they, too, cannot and will not, see it. But, sin is blinding.
