Profiteers of Protestantism in Both Testaments hate those who are more obedient to God than they are. #6.

Both The Old Testament and The New Testament tell us how to be more pleasing to God at His Judgment of our soul:  Obedience!
~
Question 1:  “What do The Profiteers of Protestantism hate for their donors to read in 2 Maccabees 6:18-31 so much that they took those Books out of their Bibles?”

~

Answer:  “They hate to think that anyone should prefer torture and death rather than disobey A Word of God!

‘Eleazar, one of the foremost scribes, a man of advanced age and noble appearance, was being forced to open his mouth to eat pork.
But preferring a glorious death to a life of defilement,
he spat out the meat, and went forward of his own accord to the instrument of torture, as people ought to do who have the courage to reject the food which it is unlawful to taste even for love of life.’
~
Question 2:  “What did The Old Testament Profiteers of Protestantism tell Eleazar  to do?”
Answer:  “‘Those in charge of that unlawful ritual meal took the man aside privately, because of their long acquaintance with him, and urged him to bring meat of his own providing, such as he could legitimately eat, and to pretend to be eating some of the meat of the sacrifice prescribed by the king;  in this way he would escape the death penalty, and be treated kindly because of their old friendship with him.’

Question 3:  “Were The Profiteers of Protestantism trying to get Eleazar to ‘bear false witness’?

Answer:  “In every Age, The Profiteers of Protestantism make a living by ‘bearing false witness’ to Words of God.  For the past 2,000 years, they have encouraged donors to avoid This Word of God!  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Question 3:  “What did Eleazar tell the early Profiteers of Protestantism who disobeyed the Teachings of Moses in The Old Testament?”

Answer:  “He explained why it was better to die than to live a lie!
‘But Eleazar made up his mind in a noble manner, worthy of his years, the dignity of his advanced age, the merited distinction of his gray hair, and of the admirable life he had lived from childhood;  and so he declared that above all he would be loyal to the holy laws given by God.’
~
Question 4:  “Was Eleazar specific as to why he would follow God instead of The Profiteers of Protestantism?”
Answer:  “He was very specific about his duty to God and his people!  ‘He told them to send him at once to the abode of the dead, explainingAt our age it would be unbecoming to make such a pretense;  many young people would think the ninety-year-old Eleazar had gone over to an alien religion.  Should I thus pretend for the sake of a brief moment of life,
they would be led astray by me, while I would bring shame and dishonor on my old age.'”

Question 5:  “WHat Truth did Eleazar share about obeying Every Word of God?”

Answer:  “‘Even if, for the time being, I avoid the punishment of men, I shall never, whether alive or dead, escape the hands of the Almighty.
Therefore, by manfully giving up my life now, I will prove myself worthy of my old age, and I will leave to the young a noble example of how to die willingly and generously
for the revered and holy laws.’

~

Question 4:  “Some of those Profiteers of Protestantism had been his ‘friends’!  Did they begin to hate Eleazar for showing how weak and self-serving they were?”

Answer:  “The Profiteers of Protestantism always hate those who are closer to God than they are!  ELeazar cared more about respecting God than violating His Word:

‘Eleazar spoke thus, and went immediately to the instrument of torture. Those who shortly before had been kindly disposed to him, now became hostile toward him because what he had said seemed to them utter madness.  When he was about to die under the blows,
he groaned and said:
‘The Lord in His holy knowledge knows full well that, although I could have escaped death, I am not only enduring terrible pain in my body from this scourging, but also suffering it with joy in my soul
because of my devotion to Him.’
~
May we all believe in God meaningfully enough to follow The Holy Example of Eleazer when The Profiteers of Protestantism try to force us to corrupt our souls with self-serving disobedience”:
“This is how he died, leaving in his death a model of courage and an unforgettable example of virtue not only for the young but also for the whole nation.”
~
The Old Testament and The New Testament tell us one thing:  “There are always Profiteers of Protestantism who hate God and their neighbors so much they will kill many who obey:  “Love God and love your neighbors as yourself.”
