“. . I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. . .”

Protestants reject The Only Church Jesus Founded!  And, they won’t admit it!

Protestants have the same reason for disrespecting The Decree of Jesus:  Vanity!  All of us are burdened, if not cursed, with the notion that “My opinion matters!”

That leads many to:  “I do NOT want to follow the rules of The Only Church Jesus Founded.  But, I do want to get to Heaven.  So, I ignore Jesus when I disagree with anything He says!  I am proud of having the moral strength to ignore God when I want!”

Protestants love to recite self-serving silliness:  “Jesus loves me!  I am saved because I believe!  When I say that, Pastor Bob tells me how smart I am!   I love it when Pastor Bob tells me how smart I am!  I give him money.  The more he praises me, the more I give him.   That shows how smart I am!”

John 3:36 is as clear as it needs to be: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

Best to be Catholic!
