Protestantism’s downhill slide

Look at any family. Protestantism’s downhill slide may take a few generations. Most Protestant families have Catholic ancestors. Over time, many of their children left The Church Jesus Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Those who leave The Church all say the same thing. “We don’t need all those Catholic rules and regulations! We just believe in Jesus!”

They became Protestants. Protestantism’s downhill slide began when Judas, the first Protestant, turned against obedience to Jesus Christ!

+

Protestantism’s downhill slide continued. A generation or so later, their descendants decided:

“We don’t need to be bothered going to any church at all! We can listen to ministers on the radio! We can watch preachers on TV! We don’t need to be bothered going to church!”

+

Protestantism’s downhill slide did not stop there. Soon, they stop listening to TV and radio evangelists. “All I have to do is read The Bible!” Some of them recite a little poem: “I can read The Bible for free! / No more paying tithes for me!”

+

Soon, they stop reading The Bible. “I feel closer to God when I am doing what I want!” Doing whatever they want becomes their church! They slide into sin.

Their children, if any, have no relationship with God, His Church, or any denomination! Their family dies out. “The sins of the fathers are visited upon the sons.”

+

Protestants do some good things. The best thing Protestants do is Baptize! The souls of Protestants are cleansed of Original Sin when they are Baptized “in The Name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit.”

As Protestantism’s downhill slide continues, their children do not even have Baptism! The souls of the unbaptized are quickly corroded. Then, they are lost.

Protestantism’s downhill slide ends in a family’s extinction.
