Protestants can’t say they weren’t warned!  St. Paul was an obedient Catholic priest and Bishop.  1 Corinthians 10:16 tells us that in his own words:  “The cup of benediction that we bless is it not a participation in the Blood of Christ. The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the Body of Christ.”

St. Paul warns all to  “avoid factions”.  In Galatians 5:21, St. Paul puts those who prefer “factions” to The Only Church Jesus Founded among “drunkards and fornicators”.

St. Paul describes the vanity of Protestantism in 1 Tm 6:2-12.  “Beloved: . . . Whoever teaches something different and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the religious teaching is conceited, understanding nothing, and has a morbid disposition for arguments and verbal disputes.”

“the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ” include John 6:53-66, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”   St. Paul is telling us to obey such instructions because they are among the “sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ”.   Christ’s obedient sheep obey.

St. Paul describes those who reject The Only Church Jesus Founded.  Anyone who does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the religious teaching is conceited, understanding nothing, and has a morbid disposition for arguments and verbal disputes.”  Wow!  What a passage!  Protestants can’t say they weren’t warned!

Catholics respect Jesus enough to obey His instruction about The Only Church He Founded by saying so clearly:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

St. Paul describes the nature of those who prefer one of the 45,000 Marketing Plan Denominations to The Only Church Jesus Founded:   “From these come envy, rivalry, insults, evil suspicions, and mutual friction among people with corrupted minds, who are deprived of the truth, supposing religion to be a means of gain.”

Catholic priests and laity are grateful to be blessed with obedience.  “But you, man of God, avoid all this. Instead, pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness. Compete well for the faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called when you made the noble confession in the presence of many witnesses.”
