Protestants do not like to be reminded that Mary obeyed God.

2,000 years ago, it was time for The Prophecies about Jesus to be Fulfilled. God sent The Archangel Gabriel to speak with Mary. St. Luke tells us of their conversation. Mary was asked if she would bear Jesus.

Mary said “(Yes.) I will be the handmaid of The Lord.”

As a result of Mary’s obedience, Jesus was able to take Human Form on earth.

Jesus got people to listen to Him by performing Miracles. His First Public Miracle was at The Wedding Feast of Cana. A family faced financial embarrassment. They had run out of money for wine at The Wedding Feast. “Mary, please ask Your Son to do something!”

Just as Mary had obeyed The Messenger from God, Jesus obeyed His Mother. Hundreds of gallons of fine wine were provided from huge jugs of water.

+

Mary had said “Yes.” to God. Jesus, The Second Person of The Holy Trinity, had said “Yes.” to His Blessed Mother.

Protestants don’t like to be reminded of how importance obedience is. Many of them willfully and knowingly refuse to obey The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Those who choose to disobey Jesus do not like to have reminders of Obedience in their buildings. Images of Mary, and other obedient Saints and Angels, remind them that God judges us by our obedience to Him.

+

Jesus made that very clear. “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

All of Protestantism is built on this False Premise: “Jesus will let us into Heaven, even if we willfully disobey Him.”

+

Mary set an example of obedience. The Profiteers of Protestantism do not want reminders of how important obedience is!
