Protestants resent Jesus.  “Jesus didn’t give me “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”!

Protestants know that Jesus could return to earth whenever He pleased and say to anyone He wanted:

Jesus never did that!  Protestants resent Jesus because He never re-appeared and said to a single one of them:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

He didn’t reappear and give “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” to Martin Luther.  He never returned to earth and gave them to Billy Graham.  He never gave them to John Calvin.

The fact is, Jesus only gave one set of “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” to one man, one time.

That’s why Protestants resent Jesus.  “The only people who will give us money are the people who ignore Jesus!   We want everyone to give us money!  It is wrong for Catholics to only support The Only Church Jesus Founded!   They should support us, too!  Our denomination is just as good as The Only Church Jesus Founded!  I am just as good as Peter!”

As we consider the institutionalized shallowness of breathlessly asking, “Are you born again?  Do you have a ‘personal relationship’ with Jesus?” we see why Protestants resent Jesus.

No Protestant will ever admit that Jesus was right to have Only Founded One Church.  “Jesus is wrong!  Our 45,000 denominations are just as good as The Only Church Jesus Founded!  Now, give us some money!”
