Reading 1

Is 56:1, 6-7
Thus says the LORD:
Observe what is right, do what is just;
for my salvation is about to come,
my justice, about to be revealed.

 The foreigners who join themselves to the LORD,
ministering to him,
loving the name of the LORD,
and becoming his servants—
all who keep the sabbath free from profanation
and hold to my covenant,
them I will bring to my holy mountain
and make joyful in my house of prayer;
their burnt offerings and sacrifices
will be acceptable on my altar,
for my house shall be called
a house of prayer for all peoples.

67:2-3, 5, 6, 8Responsorial Psalm

R. (4) O God, let all the nations praise you!

May God have pity on us and bless us;
may he let his face shine upon us.
So may your way be known upon earth;
among all nations, your salvation.

R. O God, let all the nations praise you!

May the nations be glad and exult
because you rule the peoples in equity;
the nations on the earth you guide.

R. O God, let all the nations praise you!

May the peoples praise you, O God;
may all the peoples praise you!
May God bless us,
and may all the ends of the earth fear him!
R. O God, let all the nations praise you!

Rom 11:13-15, 29-32Reading II

Brothers and sisters:
I am speaking to you Gentiles.
Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles,
I glory in my ministry in order to make my race jealous
and thus save some of them.

For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world,
what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.
Just as you once disobeyed God
but have now received mercy because of their disobedience,
so they have now disobeyed in order that,
by virtue of the mercy shown to you,
they too may now receive mercy.
For God delivered all to disobedience,
that he might have mercy upon all.

Mt 15:21-28Gospel

At that time, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
And behold, a Canaanite woman of that district came and called out,
“Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David!
My daughter is tormented by a demon.”
But Jesus did not say a word in answer to her.
Jesus’ disciples came and asked him,
“Send her away, for she keeps calling out after us.”
He said in reply,
“I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
But the woman came and did Jesus homage, saying, “Lord, help me.”
He said in reply,
“It is not right to take the food of the children
and throw it to the dogs.”
She said, “Please, Lord, for even the dogs eat the scraps
that fall from the table of their masters.”
Then Jesus said to her in reply,
“O woman, great is your faith!
Let it be done for you as you wish.”
And the woman’s daughter was healed from that hour.

Catholic Fundamentalism Interpretation:

The Loving Programmer tells us that we should obey His Operating Instructions, seeing what is right, and doing what is just.

His promised Salvation, Jesus Christ, is about to arrive on earth, revealing His justice.

People who are not descended from The Twelve Tribes will download Him in the Eucharist (joining with Him), and like Catholic Priests, will be doing His Will, Loving His Name, and serving Him.

They will keep His Holy Day from being profaned and obey His Operating Instructions.

He will take them into Programming HQ and His Church will be a place of joy.  Their burnt offerings (the vanity they have erased from their individual programs) and sacrifices (giving up worldly possessions) will be accepted at The Server at Programming HQ, because that will be a place for all who believe and obey.

O Loving Programmer, may all the different human programs praise You!”

May The Loving Programmer help us with Programming Assistance.  Let His Operating Instructions and the good they do be known to all.

O Loving Programmer, may all the different human programs praise You!”

May the groupings of human programs be elated because The Loving Programmer rules them all fairly, guiding the different groups of people on earth.

O Loving Programmer, may all the different human programs praise You!”

May all the groups of people praise You, O Loving Programmer.  May He provide us with all the Programming Assistance we need, and may all peoples everywhere fear His Power to assist or erase.

O Loving Programmer, may all the different human programs praise You!

Brothers and sisters, I am speaking to those not descended from Judah because I am the human program The Loving Programmer has sent to tell all people they may be saved.

In doing so, I hope to make the Jews jealous, which may save those who may be saved.  By rejecting The Program, who took perfect, obedient form in Jesus Christ and came to earth to be sacrificed in accord with the prophets, they reconciled themselves to the world.  If they accept Him, they will live.

The Loving Programmer’s Program is unchanging, as is His call and the gifts He provides.  I am talking to you, now, because the Jews refused to accept His Download, to which you owe the mercy you’re receiving.  Maybe, if they see that you are getting what was once meant for them, they’ll smarten up, and be forgiven, as well.  The Loving Programmer programmed all people with the free will necessary to choose to obey or disobey because He wanted to have mercy for all (who believed and obeyed).

Jesus, The Program downloaded upon earth in perfect, obedient, human form, went to Phoenicia, where child sacrifice took place.

A Canaanite woman of that district had enough sense to see that Jesus had The Programming Power to cast vicious viruses out of human beings, and called, “Have pity on me, God, son of David!  My daughter is tormented by a demon!”

Jesus ignored her.  His disciples said, “Send her away, because she keeps annoying us.”

He said, “I was sent only to the human programs descended from Judah.”

But, the woman knew that Jesus was God, and bowed before Him, saying, “Lord, help me.” Without arguing about what He said, she just asked for help.

He said, “It isn’t right to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.”

She said, “Please Lord, even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from the table of their masters.”

Then, Jesus said, “O woman, you have great faith!  Let it be done for you as you wish.”, and He used His Programming Power to either erase the virus, or send it away, purifying the daughter’s operating system because of her mother’s faith.

(Many of our own operating systems have been purified and allowed to work better because our mothers and others who loved us asked Jesus to help us.)
