Saul became Paul. Hate turned to Love. What a Conversion Story! #33.

St. Peter is holiding “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” for all.  St. Paul is looking at you.

~

Question 1:  “Why did Saul hate Catholics so much that he had them arrested and jailed?”

Answer:  “This Word of Jesus had begun to take form on earth:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’  Few people wanted to believe God had taken Human Form and had spoken One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being.”

~

Question 2:  “What led Saul to see that he should stop arguing with That Word from He Whom the first Catholics were blessed to see as The Second Person of The Holy Trinity?”

Answer:  “Acts 9:1-22 and Acts 22:3-16 tells us:  Saul saw The Light!  ‘On that journey as I drew near to Damascus, about noon a great light from the sky suddenly shone around me.
I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me,  ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
I replied, ‘Who are you, Sir?’  And he said to me, ‘I am Jesus the Nazorean Whom you are persecuting.’

~

Question 3:  “What did Saul do when He ‘saw the light’?”

Answer:  “First, he saw that ‘The Light’ was a living being.  Then, he asked The Living Light for instruciton:   ‘What shall I do, Sir?’

~

Question 4:  “Did the ‘Living Light’ tell him what to do?”

Answer:  “Saul realized Who the ‘Living Light’ was!  ‘The Lord answered me, ‘Get up and go into Damascus, and there you will be told about everything appointed for you to do.'”

~

Question 5:  “Did Saul obey That Word from God?”

Answer:  “‘Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing;  so they led him by the hand and brought him to Damascus.  For three days he was unable to see, and he neither ate nor drank.’

~

Question 6:  “What happened to Saul while he was ‘blind’?”

Answer:  “The Living Light came into his mind.  It re-arranged the tiny electrons in his brain that he had downloaded from a lifetime of studying Holy Scripture.  God let him see This Simple Fact: ‘Jesus Christ has fulfilled over 300 Prophecies about The Messiah.  Jesus is The Messiah!’

~

Question 7:  “What did Saul do?”

Answer:  “He changed his name!  He was no longer identified as ‘Saul’, the name of the King whom God deposed.  He became ‘Paul”.  Then, St. Paul did what every Catholic in the world should do.”

~

Question 8:  “What should every Catholic in the world do?”

Answer:  “Every Catholic in the world should do what Mark 16:15 told us in a few words:  ‘Go out to all the world and tell The Good News!'”

~

Question 9:  “What ‘Good News’ should Catholics share?”

Answer:  “Our duty is to tell our ‘beloved neighbors’ about The Specific Place Jesus left His actual ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that He gave to Peter, his Successors, and His One, Holy, Cathoic, and Apostolic Church.”

~

Question 10:  “How do we know that St. Paul  became a Catholic, and a Catholic priest, and a Catholic Bishop?”

Answer:  “Only a Catholic priest or Bishop could understand The Importance of sharing Catholic Communion by telling the world in 1 Corinthians 10:16:  ‘This cup of benediction that we bless, is it not The Blood of Christ?  This bread that we break, is it not The Body of Christ?'”

~

May all be blessed to follow St. Paul andbe Catholic, live Cathoic, and die Catholic.
