God filled The Universe with “Distractions”. Thinking Clearly about “Distractions” can help every soul move toward God. (May we not be ‘distracted’ from reading to the end of this short column!)

Question 1: “Why did God make The Creation Program, the entire universe, ‘So Big!’?”
Answer: “God knew that people would invent increasingly powerful telescopes. He made The Universe ‘So Big!’ that His beloved Human Programs would not be able to see an end to His Power. He made the tiny ‘building blocks’ of The Universe ‘So Small!’ that no one can find the tiniest part of anything.”

Question 2: “Why did God make it so we could not find Final Truth about any thing He created?”
Answer: “God wrote and downloaded The Creation Program to give Free Will to every person in every age on earth. Every thing in Creation is here to give us Free Will.”

Question 3: “How should we use our Free Will?”
Answer: “One kind of person ‘Seeks Truth in God’. The other kind of people ‘Seek Truth in distractions’.”

Question 4: “Did God make so many ‘distractions’ to keep people from finding Him?”
Answer: “God’s people seek and find Him! Others choose to focus on the ‘distractions’ of His Creation.”

Question 5: “Can those ‘distractions’ work together for good?”
Answer: “If we study any ‘distraction’ intelligently, we will discover Two Soul-Saving Facts!
First! Catholics understand the word ‘distraction’ combines two words: ‘dis’ and ‘traction’.”
Second! “Every ‘distraction’ is made of other ‘distractions’. Cars, for instance, have ‘parts’. Each ‘part’ is made of ‘parts’. Those ‘parts’ have even more ‘parts’. ‘Distractions’ are everywhere!”

Question 6: “What do Catholics learn from Soul-Saving Fact #2?”
Answer: “Those who choose to live on the slippery slope of ‘distractions’ cannot have the ‘traction’ to move their souls closer to Heaven.”

Catholics are blessed with the “traction” to move ourselves to see the “attraction” of The Church-Creating Word with Which Jesus Christ Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being. His Word gives our souls enough “traction” to get these “keys”:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
May we all have enough “traction” to get those “keys” for our soul. Those “keys” include The Seven Catholic Sacraments that Jesus gave His Life to leave to all who do not let ourselves be “distracted” from His Holy, Church-Creating Word.
