Catholics ask God for THIS blessing: “Traction”! #35.

One thing helps us climb “Jacob’s Ladder” to Heaven: “Traction!” Demons prefer “attraction”, “distraction”, “subtraction”, and “retraction” that make us lose “Traction”!

~

Question 1: “Why do Catholics pray for ‘traction’?”

Answer: “Catholics know! We spend our lives on a ‘slippery slope’. If we lose ‘traction’, we slide down that ‘slippery slope’. Our immortal soul will end up in ‘the lake of fire’ described in Rev. 21:14.”

~

Question 2: “Why do Catholics pray for the ‘traction’ to keep us from sliding down ‘the broad path to destruction’?

Answer: “We are able to imagine the cries of those who lost ‘traction’ and did not stop their tragic slide to a ‘fate worse than death’.”

~

Question 3: “What will keep us from having God’s saving ‘traction’ and getting these ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ for our immortal soul? ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Answer: “Distractions keep billions of souls from Heaven. As soon as we let distractions’ become ‘attractions’ that make us look away from Any Word of Jesus, we lose the ‘traction’ that keeps us on the ‘straight and narrow path’ to Heaven.”

~

Question 5: “There are seven deadly tribes of demons: pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth. Are they living distractions’ trying to keep us from living by Teachings and Words of Jesus?”

Answer: “All ‘attractions’ are ‘distractions’ that make billions of souls lose ‘traction’‘Look at me, not God!’ says every attraction’ in Creation.”

~

Question 6: “What do all earthly ‘attractions’ do to us?”

Answer: “Every ‘at-traction’ is a dis-traction’ wants to keep us from having the ‘traction’ provided by the ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus died to leave on earth.”

~

Question 7: “Does every ‘distraction’ want us to make ‘retractions’ to our commitment to obey Every Teaching of Jesus Christ and The Church He Spoke Into Being on Earth?”

Answer: “Every ‘distraction’ that keeps us from God’s ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ is an unholy ‘subtraction’ from the number of souls that would otherwise be in Heaven.”

~

Question 8: “Will God give a ‘retraction’ to the blessings He gave to previously obedient souls?”

Answer: “Look at Today’s Reading from 2 Samuel 12:1-17! David was overwhelmed by ‘attraction’ for Uriah’s wife. That became a ‘distraction’ from his earlier obedience to God. That ‘retraction’ led him to sin that ended in his murder of Uriah.

~

Question 9: “Did God punish David for the ‘distraction’ that caused him to lose the ‘traction’ that had kept him on God’s Road to Heaven?”

Answer: “God took the life of the baby David had with Bathsheeba. That proved how important it is to never lose the ‘traction’ that can get us to God. James 1:14-15 explains!

‘Everyone who is tempted is attracted and seduced by his own wrong desire. Then, the desice conceives and gives birth to sin. When the sin is fully grown, it too has a child, and the child is death.’

~

May we all be blessed with the “traction” to keep climbing higher on Jacob’s Ladder”

There are interesting ideas to read and share in the short Daily Columns. Many like the free books: https://catholicfundamentalism.com/our-books/

If you like the free downloads, please consider a donation to your Parish or favorite Catholic Charity. And, donate some effort by sharing: catholicfundamentalism.com

The best book of the last Century is “The Diary of St. Faustina”. It lets each of us realize how much Jesus loves our soul. http://www.seraphim.my/divinemercy/diary/text/DiaryI.htm

A few of our free books are listed below. They are shared by Catholic Missionaries (who may include you) as anonymous as the unnamed believers identified by The Disciples of Jesus in Luke 10:1-22.

These free books are interesting. The anonymous author is an inventor with the unusual qualification of having over 160 U.S. Patents. He shares simple reasons to be Catholic.

”Crats!” is a very unusual novel. https://catholicfundamentalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Crats-Final-1.pdf

”New Road to Rome” is a simple Catholic look at The World and its History. https://catholicfundamentalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/New-Road-To-Rome.pdf

This look at “The Book of Revelation” helps us use our computer skills to understand the most complicated Book in The Bible! Catholics know more than we realize. We understand that every email we have written is also inscribed in our “Book of Life” that Jesus will read at our Judgment! https://catholicfundamentalism.com/the-book-of-revelation

The books are free. They cannot be bought. How often have you heard of that?
