Science is the handmaiden to Theology | Power to Erase any or all of The Creation Program

Science is the handmaiden to Theology

Yesterday, a student in a Confirmation Class said, “Matter can neither be created nor destroyed.”  The teacher realized that the student had heard this from a science teacher in the government schools, and recognized it for what it was;  a search for truth.

The teacher replied:  “We can see a larger truth than that.  Imagine a computer program of a particularly realistic animation, as  computer-generated graphics in a movie.  If the programmer of the animation decided to erase that program, and had embedded such a capacity for erasure within his program, it would be completely gone when he wanted to get rid of it.  If we picture God as The Loving Programmer, we can see that He could erase The Creation Program, or any part of what He had written and downloaded, any time He wanted.”

Power to Erase any or all of The Creation Program

The “lesser truth” of science , “matter can neither be created nor destroyed” maintains its correctness, but only within The Creation Program.  The Being Who wrote and downloaded The Creation Program has the power to override anything within it any time He wants.  That is why science is the handmaiden to Theology.
