There are no shortcuts on the road to Rome.

Many leave The Church because they’re in relationships that keep them from The Sacraments.  The longer they stay away, the harder it is to get their lives back on track.  There are no shortcuts on the road to Rome.  Many mistakenly think there are.

Often, an annulment is necessary to allow remarriage.  An annulment costs several hundred dollars, so many avoid it.  “I don’t need an annulment because I feel that I am married.” is a common explanation.

Schismatic organizations welcome these people, and their money.  They are skilled at assuring them:   “You don’t need to be a Catholic, with all those rules and regulations.  This is a Christian Church that puts people first.”

Lost souls don’t realize how dangerous that last sentence is.

For many, it is a final sentence.
