St Paul tells us: “The Word of God is something . . ” Something = some thing.

Hebrews 4: 12-16 is fascinating. St. Paul tells us: “The Word of God is something . .” Something = some thing. What “thing” is “The Word of God”?

St. Paul defines “The Word of God”.

1. “It is alive and active.”

2. “It cuts like a double-edged sword, but more finely.”

3. “It can slip through the place where the soul is divided from the spirit.”

4. “It can judge the secret emotions and thoughts.” (in every human mind).

5. “No created thing can hide from Him.”

6. “Everything is uncovered and open to the eyes of The One to Whom we must give an account of ourselves.”

St. Paul tells us: our “emotions and thoughts” are “things” that God will judge.

God created Creation out of “things”. We create “emotions and thoughts” in our mind. They are actual “things”.

God judges them.

++

At His Judgment, all of our “emotions and thoughts” will be judged. “Emotions” come first.

Emotion means: “a feeling such as happiness, love, fear, anger, or hatred. .”

Our “emotions” reflect the effect we have allowed pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth to have on our “thoughts“.

Thought means: “an idea or opinion produced by thinking”.

+++

Our souls will be judged by the “emotions and thoughts” that make our soul what it is. They are either “obedient” or “disobedient” to God. We told us that He loves obedient souls. “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

God did Speak One Church Into Being with His Word: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

The “emotions and thoughts” of His obedient friends incorporate His Decree into our soul.

Priests in The Only Church Jesus Founded are able to preside over The Miracle of Transubstantiation. They provide The Actual Body and Blood of Christ.
That has been available at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.

Receiving That Holy Food makes it possible for us to obey: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

His obedient “friends” gratefully receive That Holy Food. It makes the “emotions and thoughts” that are our souls pleasing to God.

What else do we need to know?
