Ten steps to Heaven.

One:  Prophets predicted The Promised Messiah.  300 prophecies foretold His family, birth, life, death, and Resurrection.

Two:  He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies said to one man, one time:  “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Three:  Jesus gave His followers the oddest instruction in History:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”  After He said that the twelfth time in John 6:66, the first Protestants left Him.  It was too much for them to believe.

Four:  His most obedient followers stayed with Him.  Peter spoke for the obedient of every age:  “Where else can we go?”

Five:  At The Last Supper, The First Catholic Mass, He changed bread and wine into His Body and Blood.  Then, He ordained The First Catholic Bishops with the power to preside over changing bread and wine into His Body and Blood.  He empowered them to ordain others with the same Holy Authority.

Six:  For two thousand years, “the gates of hell” have not prevailed over any teaching of The Only Church Jesus Founded.  His Body and Blood are still provided by Catholic priests.  Each is ordained in living link with The First Catholic Bishops.

Seven:  Catholics recognize His Power.  He gave Catholic priests this awesome authority:  “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

Eight:  Catholics recognize:  “The beginning of wisdom is fear of The Lord.”  We respect His truly terrifying teaching in John 3:36: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

Nine:  Catholics know how important it is to be counted among His friends:  “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Ten:  Those who want to be His friends do what is necessary to obey “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Ten steps to Heaven.  It is as simple as that.
